After many weeks of pulling all-nighters and suffering sleep deprivation, I’ve finally finished this list! I decided against rating each one individually and instead have left my final thoughts/impressions on each show.
Here is the list:
Death Note (2006) – Amazing anime, intelligent and brilliant story. A bit disappointed with how it all ended. Light reminds me of Lelouch from Code Geass.
Medaka Box (2012) – After reading the description I did not want to watch it, so I didn’t.
Cowboy Bebop (1998) – The jazzy intro is really cool. This anime does a great job of revealing every character’s backstory. Love the trio of old guys in every episode. Really like the space cowboy theme. Ed is a girl?
Angel Beats! (2010) – This show is very funny. Powerful yet sad. I loved the story and the ending is very satisfying. This anime didn’t make me cry, but it did force me to reevaluate how I live my life.
Samurai Champloo (2004) – A show about samurai’s = awesome! This show has a really interesting intro and the end song is very hypnotic in a way. Definitely a work of art and one of the best anime’s I’ve seen in a while.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (2012) – Funny, very bizarre and over the top. Joseph Joestar is my favorite Jojo so far.
Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders (Ongoing) – More serious than it’s predecessor, but still very much over the top in style and action. Also there’s ALOT of yelling.
Soul Eater NOT! (2014) – NOT a good a show. Nowhere near as good as the original Soul Eater series. Almost every girl in this series is a lesbian or sexual confused. Overall extremely stupid. (Editor’s note: In no way is Patrick Berridge against the LGBT community, he is simply showing his dislike of the flat character concepts in the show)
Fairy Tail (2014-Ongoing) – Finally I get more Fairy Tail! Grand Magic games is the best story arc so far. If you don’t watch this series you’re missing out.
Naruto Shippuden (Ongoing) – Still love this show even though I feel like it will never end.
Avatar: The Legend of Korra (Ongoing) – Exciting so far, season 3 has the potential to be the best season yet.
The Boondocks (Season 4) – Highly offensive, but very funny.
